The Infinity Blade is the catalyst for the events in both Infinity Blade and Infinity Blade II. It is said to have been created by the Worker of Secrets. The Infinity Blade is valuable as one of the only Deathless-killing weapons in the world. It also possesses other abilities, such as unlocking the Vault of Tears, where the Worker was imprisoned.
At the beginning of the series, Raidriar (the God King) possessed the Infinity Blade, and was using it to kill reincarnations of Siris in hopes of activating its Deathless-killing abilities (which were then only capable of killing lower-class Deathless). Siris eventually defeated Raidriar in battle and took the Blade for himself, using it to unlock the rooms beneath the Temple of Lantimor and kill the Deathless slaves Raidriar had kept there. During this, the Blade was completely awoken.
Later, in Saydhi's estate, he inserted it into an obelisk similar to the one in the Temple of Lantimor, hoping that it would unlock another secret area. However, Raidriar had prepared the obelisk beforehand to seal the Blade. He recovered the Blade and was preparing to kill Siris permanently with it when Isa interrupted him by shooting Siris in the head. Being a Deathless, Siris recovered completely. Siris later defeated Raidriar and took possession of the Blade once more in order to free the Worker of Secrets from his prison in the Vault of Tears, but the Worker betrayed him and stole the Blade. In the storyline, he is the current owner of the weapon.
Finding it[]
Obtaining the Infinity Blade in the original Infinity Blade requires defeating the God King (Raidriar) at least once. After he has been defeated, the Infinity Blade will appear in the store for the price of 
514,900. Raidriar does not drop the Infinity Blade.
In Infinity Blade II, the Blade is automatically equipped in the game introduction. After the intro is finished, the Blade is automatically unequipped, but it remains available in the light weapon section of the store.
In-game uses[]
In Infinity Blade I, the Deathless Kings can only be found if their holding cells are opened by the Infinity Blade. To open their cells, the player just needs to own the weapon; it doesn't have to be equipped. Simply approach the lock with the Infinity Blade imprint and Siris will insert the Blade like a key, unlocking the cells.
In Infinity Blade II, the blade can be used to unlock the tomb holding the Dark Fiend. This in turns allows the player to obtain the Vile Shield. In the Skycages, it can also be used to unlock the Iron Hunter's cell and obtain Torren's Legacy.

The Infinity Blade begins with a small metallic section that seems to be integrated with some form of circuitry. There is a hole in the center, surrounded by two small blue embellishments, as well as one larger metallic embellishment. Beyond this section is the hand-held area of the hilt, which seems to be wrapped with a dark fabric. There are several evenly spaced rhombus-shaped areas not covered by this wrap, however. Farther down the length of the blade is the prominent opening, which is intricately decorated. It is tapered at four points on the exterior. There is also a large purple gem, possibly an amethyst. Within this segment of the sword begins the blade.
The blade itself features a brown inner section imbued with the same form of circuitry seen on the bottom section of the hilt. Surrounding that section is the edge of the blade, which is much wider. Being a double-edged sword, this edge extends to both sides. At first, the blade widens until it surmounts in width approximately ten inches from the hilt. At that point, it slowly becomes narrower until the tip of the blade is reached. There are three holes of various size in one section, and three more of a much smaller size closer to the end.
There were several design changes between the first and second games: in Infinity Blade II, the color of the side of the Blade is different and appears to be laced with circuitry. The material that the Blade is made of is unknown. The Blade gives off a blue glow when used, even though it is a non-elemental sword (which usually give off yellow glows).
